The planet still overheating | An 11th consecutive heat record, according to Copernicus

(Paris) April 2024 broke a monthly heat record on the Earth’s surface for the 11the months in a row, the European Copernicus service announced on Wednesday.


On the oceans, the month of April breaks its monthly record for the 13the months in a row, with an average surface temperature of 21.04°C, however marking a slight inflection compared to the record for March (21.07°C).
