World famous for her role as Gabrielle Solis in the “Desperate Housewives” series, Eva Longoria has been concentrating for several years on production and directing. The American actress finally signed the series “Devious Maids” which seeped into the turbulent lives of Latin maids and servants, a humorous way of depicting the relationship between certain wealthy American families and their South American employees.
This year, Eva Longoria signs her first film as a producer. The pretty brunette is indeed at the origin of “Flamin’ Hot” which is also available on Disney + since June 9th. The feature film inspired by real events tells the story of Richard Montañez, the man who claims to be the inventor of the very popular American brand Flamin’ Hot Cheetos chips, better known simply as Cheetos. Employed in a chip manufacturing company, the man has always said that one day, one of the machines in the factory broke down.
After bringing it home to repair it, he takes the opportunity to season the chips it contains with Mexican spices (chili powder). Richard Montañez explains that the product would have subsequently been submitted to the CEO of the factory, who would have started to launch it in the Latin market. Little by little, the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos would have brought billions in revenue to the company without giving credit to its simple employee…
