This time, we can clearly see the face of Tahar Rahim, the actor who plays Charles Aznavour. The official trailer for the film Mr. Aznavour, directed by Mehdi Idir and Grand Corps Malade, was put online on Tuesday, September 3 shortly before noon. It was viewed more than 4,000 times in the space of three hours. And the first comments are rather enthusiastic. The first teaser was shared on social networks on May 22, the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Charles Aznavour. The producers and directors of the film had deliberately hidden Tahar Rahim’s face.
In this new trailer, the actor is present in all the shots. Tahar Rahim plays a few notes of Bohemia and exchanges with Edith Piaf in a delicious dialogue. Above all, we see the young artist, in whom no one believes in success, transform into a man full of determination, capable of sacrificing everything to see himself at the top of the bill.
The movie Mr. Aznavour relates “the rise of a legend”, the route “exceptional and timeless” of the artist. Bastien Bouillon and Marie-Julie Baup play opposite Tahar Rahim in this highly anticipated film.
