The Nissart, the local currency in Nice, is issuing 7,700 new banknotes for 2022. Designed by the artist Sylvie T, they represent personalities and emblems of the city of Nice. Where can we use these denominations of 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Nissarts?
The 7,700 new banknotes from Nissarts, the local currency of Nice, will enter service on Wednesday December 15th. Illustrated by Sylvie T, painter from Nice, they honor personalities like Catherine Ségurane or Francis Gag.
The banknotes are available in denominations of 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Nissarts and can be spent in 22 shops and restaurants, grocery stores, caterers, bakeries and even an optician’s.
