The Night of the Depression is back in January

First created in January 2020, the Night of depression will be back on January 17, 2022 at the St-Denis theater, after a compulsory break in 2021.

And it is always Christian Bégin who will be at the helm of this show presented on the third Monday in January, which is nicknamed “Blue Monday”.

“To mark this dark day, we are offering all those whose morale is low, as well as anyone showing symptoms of melancholy, the opportunity to put things into perspective during the most depressing evening of the year”, the statement said.

The guests who have already confirmed their participation are: Ingrid St-Pierre, André Sauvé, Daniel Bélanger, Louise Forestier, Boom Desjardins, Marc Labrèche, Marina Orsini, Paul Piché, Renée Martel, Pascale Montpetit, Kim Richardson and Marie Carmen.

Antoine Gratton is in charge of the musical direction and Pierre Bernard is in charge of the artistic direction of this show which mixes humor and music, and which promises to be “quirky, elegant and nonetheless very funny, as a snub to the ambient gloom”.
