Acting is now part of his daily life. In a Toulouse theater, Thibaut Conan regularly takes lessons coached by an actress with whom he works on breathing and improvisation techniques. The objective being to “help him go through castings, to present himself better, to appear more comfortable” explains Mélanie Briand of the Popatex Company. Support on the path to notoriety. Because Thibaut Conan seems well on his way to continuing to act in films. “The Cristal agency in Paris, which trains people with disabilities to act in films, wants to take me on. I have to sign a contract with them” he explained to our colleagues from France 3 a few days ago.

Very surrounded, Thibaut Conan, affected by Sotos syndrome (a disease of excessive growth), can also count on Eric Michel, his sports instructor who follows him in his rehabilitation. It is he who is at the origin of his first steps in cinema. Also coach of the basketball team adapted from Thibaut Conan, he sent photos of all his players for the casting of the film. Only Thibaut Conan was selected. A new challenge that the young man took on to the great pride of his sports instructor. “What interests me is that it does not fall like a bellows. That it can serve as a lever to create things in cultural, social life, etc.” Eric Michel now hopes.

After climbing the steps of the Cannes Film Festival, Thibaut Conan and the other actors of the film were invited, at the end of June, to the Elysée for a private screening.
