The National Assembly largely rejected on Monday, October 31, the motion of censure tabled by the RN against the government on the draft Social Security budget, before the LFI motion was put to the vote. The motion of Marine Le Pen’s deputies won only 90 votes, far from the 289 necessary.
The RN motion was defended by Sébastien Chenu, vice-president of the National Assembly. Later in the day, a second motion of censure tabled by insubordinate France was also rejected, resulting in the adoption of the bill at first reading.
