The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts remembers Manfred Thierry Mugler

“I am deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Manfred Thierry Mugler — a creator with an overflowing imagination whom I had the privilege of working with, who had given us his trust and his generosity to conceive the first exhibition of his own. be fully consecrated. The fashion world is losing a multi-talented prodigy who marked the history of ready-to-wear, haute couture and perfumery with his fantasy and avant-gardism,” he underlines.

In February 2019, the Museum inaugurated Thierry Mugler: Couturissime in the presence of Manfred Thierry Mugler. The exhibition was a real success since it is one of the most visited exhibitions in the entire history of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. After Munich and Rotterdam, it is currently on display at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, until April 24.
