The Montreal Distillery, the most medalist in the international Spirits Selection competition

The Montreal Distillery stood out this fall in Brussels at Spirits Selection, an important international competition for spirits producers, by winning six medals. She was thus the most medalist of the 2021 edition of the event.

“Not all medals are created equal, but these are the ones that distillers want. In my eyes, this is the most prestigious competition. It’s an honor to be judged by your peers and it’s a great recognition on their part, ”said Lilian Wolfelsberger, master distiller of the Montreal Distillery and heir to five generations of family know-how.

Two spirits from the Montreal Distillery won gold medals, namely the bitter drink “Electric Orange”, for its aromas of cinchona, gentian root, blue verbena and artichoke, as well as for its low content. of sugar, as well as the “white rum”, for its remarkable structure and its length in the mouth. The company’s “white rum” also collected a gold medal last year.
