The mask is mandatory again outdoors in Honfleur, until January 31, 2022

In the context of the 5th wave of the coronavirus epidemic in France and with the surge of the Omicron variant, the town hall of Honfleur (Calvados) has decided to once again make the mask compulsory outdoors in the town.

The mask is compulsory until January 31, 2022

The prefectural decree of December 17, 2021 provides for the obligation to wear a mask in all the streets of the municipality, except those located in the upper districts of the city. The mask will be mandatory until January 31, 2022.

This prefectural decree “follows a strong request from the Mayor of Honfleur, Michel Lamarre“, specifies Felipe Alvarez, assistant to the town hall. Tourist attendance is high in the town at the time of the end of the year celebrations, and therefore conducive to the increase in covid contamination.
