On the occasion of the 2nd France Bleu Market Tour, France Bleu Lorraine invites you to the central market of Nancy on Thursday October 6, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Come and taste the menu cooked live by chef Julien Picard.
France Bleu, in partnership with Ardoiz, creates the event and organizes its market tour, from September 24 to October 23, 2022 to highlight short circuits and local know-how. At each stage, meet our teams at the heart of the market, with a studio and a kitchen for 2h30 of live broadcast.
This Thursday, October 6, France Bleu Lorraine awaits you in the heart of the central market of Nancy, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with Jérôme Prod’Homme, for a program highlighting the products of our Lorraine region and local producers. With a challenge to Julien Picard, chef of the restaurant “Au Bistronome” in Nancy : cooking live and only with ingredients purchased on site! With 30 euros, he will have to do his shopping and make a starter-main course-dessert menu for 6 people. The chef is accompanied by a nutritionist.

The central market or covered market of Nancy
The covered market of Nancy is located in the city center, place Henri Mengin, not far from the famous Place Stanislas. The market is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The central market brings together nearly 65 traders offering quality products: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, delicatessen, Lorraine or exotic specialties, flowers…. It is a beautiful U-shaped building dating from the 19th century whose central space (known here as the central hall) – has been covered with a glass roof.
