The League sanctions the behavior of SM Caen supporters during the derby

A fine (10,000 euros) and the closure for a suspended match of the Lower part of the Borelli stand from the Michel d’Ornano stadium. These are the sanctions decided on Tuesday evening by the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League.

On October 16, during the derby against Le Havre (2-2), the match had been interrupted for a few moments due to throwing objects. The public had shown its dissatisfaction in reaction to the celebration deemed provocative by the Le Havre goalkeeper.

The disciplinary committee also criticizes the use of pyrotechnic devices during the meeting.

In addition, the defender of SM Caen Ali Abdi will not play against his former club, Paris FC on November 20. He will be suspended for taking a third warning in a period including ten games.
