Under scorching temperatures, journalists from France Télévisions criss-crossed the Aude, Thursday, June 16, and watched the mercury rise over the hours. To Castelnaudary (Aude)on the terrace of a restaurant, the thermometer displays 35°C. “Even in the evening, the temperature does not drop“, testifies Audric Rossetwaiter. In the kitchen, the temperature rises again. Ventilation is not enough to make a difference. The specialty here is cassoulet, even in summer.
