The M6 host is the target of an investigation for domestic violence after complaints from at least two ex-partners, opened after the publication by Mediapart in September 2023 of the testimonies of three ex-partners of Stéphane Plaza.
In this investigation by the investigative site, these women describe humiliation, even physical violence for two of them. Stéphane Plaza’s lawyer denounced “totally extrapolated, even false allegations”and “fanciful accusations”. In November 2023, the boss of the M6 channel, Nicolas de Tavernost, indicated that the presenter would not be sanctioned internally.
