A beginning of recognition for these artists in the making. Like Alice Trocellier, invited to perform with her viola da gamba in the Sainte-Croix-des-Armenians Cathedral: “There are a lot of very talented people, especially in the Paris region, there is a very high level. So, it’s quite unprecedented as an opportunity in Paris, it’s a real chance“.
More than twenty concerts have been scheduled this year, at the Sainte-Croix-des-Armenians Cathedral but also in the Cour d’honneur of the Hôtel de Soubise which houses the National Archives and at the Auditorium of the Petit Palais. . Two places that host free concerts open to all, as Laurent Bureau, the founder of the festival, points out: “In the courtyard of the Hôtel de Soubise, the concerts are free of charge, this is called family concerts, young parents can even come with the children in the stroller, and listen to classical music for free. , interpreted by people who often go on to brilliant careers“.
Musicians who do not forget what this spotlight has brought them. This is the case of the pianist Axia Marinescu who plays all over the world today. She was revealed by the festival nine years ago and returns today as a recognized professional: “I’m going to play with a young violinist, Sarah Jégou, and it makes me very happy because I see myself in her place 9 years ago, it’s very moving (…) and it makes me happy to come back to where everything started. started“.
In addition to the concerts in Paris, recitals are also offered in the region as part of the festival, in Château-Thierry, Rambouillet, Montereau-Fault-Yonne and Egreville.
