The daughter of the head of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) posted compromising photos of herself in undress, balaclava on her face, and gun in hand on social networks. These images supposedly taken for Halloween plunge the new leader into embarrassment.
Fady Dagher admitted it when he was appointed last November as head of the SPVM. This role is a “huge risk”, he said.
With risks come scandals, and the Montreal Journal revealed this Thursday the existence of compromising photos of his daughter wearing a bra, revealing her underwear, and especially sporting a gun that we guess is fake. The weapon looks like a real weapon.

The photos were taken in a parking lot at night. Not only have the photos since been removed from social media, but also the entire profile of Fady Dagher’s daughter.
“It’s a big lack of judgment. I explained to him by telling him “we condemn that everywhere, and you put that on social networks”. She apologized and deleted them immediately, ”commented Fady Dagher to the Log.

Firearms are increasingly present on social networks, and the SPVM is working to fight against the trafficking of its tools of death. The summer of 2022 has left some with bitter memories of gun violence and too frequent shootings in the streets of Montreal.
