“Emmanuel Macron imposes, he governs against the people”, denounces Tuesday April 18 on franceinfo Sébastien Chenu, RN deputy and vice-president of the National Assembly, the day after the presidential address on pension reform. The deputy of the National Rally accuses the head of state of being “totally off the mark”. Sébastien Chenu thus believes that “the main fault” of this speech by Emmanuel Macron was “to say that he will continue as if nothing had happened, in a kind of parallel world, in a totally lunar way”.

For the Vice-President of the National Assembly, “the debate is not closed in the minds and in the lives of the French” on pension reform. “It is not because the Constitutional Council has technically and legally validated a reform that this debate is over ad vitam aeternam”he argues.

Sébastien Chenu also criticizes the attitude of the deputies of Nupes. “Electing Emmanuel Macron, banging on pots and shouting very loudly is one thing”, but still it is necessary to answer the “appointment who is to vote after the debate, as it is the role of Parliament”, adds MP RN.
