A fire broke out in the Gare du Nord in Paris, shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 24, causing a “partial evacuation of the station” indicate on twitter the Paris police headquarters.
The flames were brought under control by firefighters, who set up a safety perimeter to keep travelers away from the smoke. Firefighters said the fire was electrical in origin.

The circulation of all trains, main lines and suburbs, resumed at 11 p.m. It had been disrupted on the RER B, and interrupted on the H and K lines of the Transilien. Mainline train traffic was able to operate normally.
