The conflict between Ukraine and Russia could have repercussions on the wallets of the French, in particular on the price of gasoline.

In a gas station located in Hazebrouck (North), the price of unleaded 98 was 1.92 euros per litre. The 2 euro bar is 8 cents away from being crossed. In recent weeks, fuel prices have soared, and customers keep their eyes glued to the meter. “It goes up so fast“, slips a customer. Today, the war in Ukraine is in the minds of consumers. They fear repercussions on the economy in France. A customer of the Hazebrouck service station has even decided to stock up.

Another station customer is concerned: “It will have further repercussions on energy, on gasoline, on gas…“During the first Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory, the barrel of Brent, a benchmark for the price of crude oil, exceeded 100 dollars. This had not happened since 2014.
