The French Football Federation (FFF) announces this Saturday morning a change of date for the final of the French Cup. Originally scheduled for May 8, it will take place on May 7. A Saturday evening as tradition dictates. The match will take place at the Stade de France with kick-off at 9:15 p.m.
A choice of the FFF to allow “to all the supporters of OGC Nice and FC Nantes of participate more easily in this great celebration football that represents the final of the Coupe de France.” The fact of having planned this final on a Sunday was justified by the presence of AS Monaco in the Europa League, but after their elimination against Nantes last Wednesday, the FFF took the decision to reschedule the match on Saturday May 7.
