“We decided to take a media/social media break to go and prepare the next album and take time for ourselves! We want to make you a 4th album that rocks! That’s why we’re leaving… To better come back! Thank you for everything and see you soon”said Big Flo and Oli on instagram.
But in recent weeks, the two brothers have been a little more present, to the delight of their fans. Last November, they announced that their new album was in the works. “Can’t wait for us to meet again. But not right away. We still need time”they assured on the platform, threatened with disappearance in a few months.
The performers of Pity were also seen in the section The Mondainefrom the Quotidien show, on TMC.
The younger of the two brothers once again spoke about their opus in preparation. Olivio claimed they were finalizing their baby before Florian chimed in to say: “We’re finishing the album there. We can’t tell you more, Quotidien. We’ll tell you all about it when we get back.”
Their break is soon over and the public is jubilant. Especially since Big Flo and Oli will appear in the cinema in 2023. They will play the roles of Abdelmalix and Toufix in the next Asterix and Obelix. The film, directed by Guillaume Canet, will be called Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Empire. “A cart arrives at the village of Asterix and Obelix, carrying the Chinese princess Fu Yi.
