This Friday, May 5, 2023, viewers of Honey 25 will be able to find Christine Bravo at the controls of two issues of “Sous les petticoats de l’histoire”. While the coronation of Charles III will be orchestrated the next day, the channel has decided to broadcast two editions focused on emblematic figures of the United Kingdom! Their names ? Wallis Simpson and the Boleyn sisters. In their own way, these three women have succeeded in making history.
For more than 40 years, Christine Bravo has distinguished herself in the media. On the air, she loves to honor the famous program which – for a time – disappeared from the radar: “It’s jubilant”she confided for our colleagues from “Télé Star” last April. “People are attached to the show. In the street, they stopped me to tell me that they were fed up with the reruns”. For her part, the journalist did not “never broke the link” with its columnists.
With her vision and her culture, Christine Bravo likes to dissect or debate countless key moments: “The prism of women makes it possible to touch on everything. The mysteries of power, the underside of major decisions, fashion, pleasures, motherhood, conjugality, extra-conjugality… While the prism of men would inevitably have reduced the matter to wars, victories, defeats… Much less attractive”.

“He banged on the table…”
At 66, Christine Bravo can boast of having marked the PAF. As for the anecdotes related to her job, she could tell tons! Funny or not, the happy mother of two has it in spades. Having had the chance to rub shoulders with the biggest stars, one of them managed to mark it… In the 80s, the sidekick of Laurent Ruquier was able to talk with the singer Jacques Higelin who disappeared in 2018.
Unfortunately on set, the situation quickly degenerated. “Higelin wanted to assassinate me live”she recalled for “Télé-Loisirs” in 2020. “He had turned on the boiler a bit in his dressing room, and he arrived, I was very scared… He came behind me, he banged on the table. Renowned for her banter, Christine Bravo annoyed her guest despite herself: “I really thought he was going to kill me! And that was my debut!” More fear than harm visibly…
