The exotic pearl of the week | Little piece of paradise in Hawaii

There is something surreal about looking at properties for sale in Hawaii, especially when it comes to browsing high-end homes. This one particularly appealed to us for a long list of reasons that make it pretty much what most resembles our dream abode.

We succumb to its charm at first glance at the panorama before our eyes. Located minutes from downtown Kailua-Kona, Big Island, in a gated community, it offers stunning ocean views that are simply breathtaking. We let you imagine the sunsets … The hardest part will probably be to choose the best place to contemplate it: the swimming pool whose bluish green merges with that of the sea, the whirlpool tub, the lanai (these typically Hawaiian verandas) Or the living room, whose teak sliding doors open fully to let in the sea air? It seems that you can even see a few dolphins from time to time, and even whales in season.

Not convincing enough? A pond of koi carp that welcome us on arrival completes the outdoor space paradise.

The same care has been given to the interior decoration – note the skylights, the abundant windows facing the ocean or the choice of materials (thought out down to the smallest details, such as the blades of the ceiling fans).

It is specified that the property built in 1986 has never been put on the market; it is currently available for short-term rental, but buyers can choose to transfer existing reservations or cancel them after take-over.

All that’s left is to project yourself cooking in this idyllic kitchen overlooking the ocean, and then share a meal while admiring the twilight.
