Millions of French people and foreign tourists have taken advantage of the All Saints’ Day holidays to discover and enjoy the riches of France. At the end of these, the professionals of the trade take stock.
Throughout the second week of the All Saints holidays, tourists came en masse to the Poitevin marshes. For some, these were the last moments of rest before returning to school and work, despite fairly average weather conditions. For Fabien Monnier, manager of a restaurant, it’s a good season, because reservations are more important than during the same period, in 2019.
In Juan-les-Pins, a Swedish tourist couple is enjoying the sun and the sand of the South of France, having lunch there, facing the sea. They benefit in particular from the mild temperatures for the month of November in the region, high compared to those in Sweden. “We love”, declared wife. In hotels, reservations are linked, with nearly 15% increase in bookings. In Ardèche, the situation is similar in the lodgings, which hope to experience the same success during the Christmas and end-of-year holidays.
