The Dordogne is placed on heatwave yellow vigilance

It will be even hotter in the Dordogne. The department is placed in heat wave yellow vigilance from this tuesday noon by Météofrance until Wednesday morning, 6 a.m.

This vigilance extends to all 12 departments of New Aquitaine with a heat peak expected between Wednesday and Thursday with peaks at 39 or 40 degrees in the southwest. According to Météofrance, this new heatwave episode will be less intense and shorter than the previous one in July.
