The Devils serve a 7-1 correction to the Blue Jackets

Fabian Zetterlund scored late in the first period as Nico Hischier and Ryan Graves hit the target within 33 seconds early in the second period.

John Marino, Jonas Siegenthaler, Jesper Bratt and Miles Wood also moved the ropes for the Devils, who secured a third straight win.

The New Jersey squad bombarded the Blue Jackets net with 53 shots en route to a sixth win in their last seven outings. The Devils haven’t allowed more than 25 shots in a game since the start of the season.

Yegor Chinakhov scored the only goal for the Blue Jackets, who suffered a third loss in a row.

Elvis Merzlikins blocked 46 shots in front of the Columbus squad.
