The French footballer was suspended from the field for four years after testing positive for testosterone in September 2023.
In July 2018, Paul Pogba celebrated the Blues’ victory at the Football World Cup. He is invited to the Élysée with the rest of the team. But the Juventus Turin footballer’s descent into hell began in 2019. At Manchester United, he suffered a series of injuries and played intermittently. In 2022, his brother, Mathias Pogba, hit the headlines with a video in which he revealed an extortion attempt on Paul.
Paul Pogba appealed the decision
To the police, the star recounts having been kidnapped, in March 2022, for three hours by childhood friends, including two hooded and armed men. Of the 13 million euros claimed, he would have paid 100,000. Paul Pogba then missed his selection for the World Cup. In September 2023, the Italian anti-doping agency announced the provisional suspension of Paul Pogba, who tested positive for testosterone. This suspension was confirmed by a four-year field suspension on Thursday February 29. A decision which Paul Pogba has just appealed.
