“I appeal to Emmanuel Macron so that he can act. We must expel the Azerbaijani ambassador to France and all the Azerbaijani diplomats who are here”declared this Thursday on franceinfo Franck Papazian, co-president of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Associations of France (CCAF), while more than 70,000 Armenians have already left Nagorno-Karabakh for Armenia.

“Discuss”, “negotiate”, “protect”

“We must ask the President of the National Assembly and the President of the Senate to dismantle the France-Azerbaijan friendship groups. We must take initiatives to create a balance of power with Azerbaijan to be able to discuss with them, negotiate and protect this population in Nagorno-Karabakh. We must send peace forces there. The world cannot let this happen.”

Franck Papazian insisted on the lack of action from the international community. “Today, it is important to act. The international community must act. Azerbaijan sees clearly that no one is intervening, that there is no concrete action to resolve this situation.”
