Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed on October 2, 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. This opponent of the Saudi regime had presented himself at the consulate of Saudi Arabia for papers and would have been brutally murdered there by a group of about fifteen men. Saudi Arabia at the time assured that the journalist had emerged alive from the consulate. But a few days later, according to the official Riyadh news agency, discussions with people met at the consulate led to a fight resulting in the death of Jamal Khashoggi.

A US intelligence report accuses the Saudi crown prince of having validated the murder. These accusations were forcefully denied by Saudi Arabia. A few days ago, the fiancée of Jamal Khashoggi was indignant at the meeting between Mohammed Bin Salman and Joe Biden. According to her, the American president has the blood of the next victim of the crown prince on his hands.
