The conflict in Sudan, the female XV of France and a mini-vegetable garden in your garden: the news at child height

The clashes in Sudan, the Bleues in the final of the Six Nations tournament and advice for making your mini-vegetable garden: this is the program for this week for “Salut l’info!”

Every week, the podcast “Salut l’info!” deciphers the news at the height of children, a program produced by franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. A show co-presented with the help of a young listener to the show.

The news takes us this week to Sudan, where violent clashes oppose the regular army and rebel forces. France evacuated 538 people, including 214 French, by carrying out several air rotations between Khartoum and Djibouti. On the ground, the situation remains very difficult for the Sudanese. We talk about it in detail in this episode.

Women’s rugby in the spotlight!

Also on the program: the final of the women’s Six Nations tournament, which opposes England to France on Saturday April 29. Les Bleues can hope to make the big slam and we talk a lot about it! The attendance record for a women’s rugby match has been broken: 55,000 tickets were sold for this final!

Finally, we are talking about the Harry Potter exhibition, visible at the moment and until next October at the Parc des Expositions in Paris. An interactive exhibition where you can learn how to cast a spell, settle in the great hall of Hogwarts, or even prepare your own potion. You can even see the costumes and sets from the movies!

In this episode, Rémi d’Astrapi offers you a great activity: making a small portable vegetable garden. Because it’s always super important and super practical to always have on hand some good aromatic herbs that you put in the dishes to give them flavor, if necessary.

Tips against nausea in the car

What to do when you are prone to nausea in the car? This is the question asked this week by a young listener. With the help of psychologist Nadège Larcher, the show gives her advice on how to deal with this problem better.

The program “Salut l’info!” listens to children’s emotions… but also their best jokes, left on the show’s answering machine on 01 47 79 40 00. Finally in the “Club Salut l’info!” reserved for listeners of the show, we discover the tastes and colors of our guest of the week, Lisa, 8 years old.
