the competition will take place without Haute-Saône according to Yves Krattinger

Will the Tour de France 2023 pass through Haute-Saône? The route of the 110th Grande Boucle will be known on October 27 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. An appointment which should take place without the presence this year of Yves Krattinger, the president of the Departmental Council of Haute-Saône.

“On that date, I think I will be in Vesoul”assures the politician who claims not to have received an invitation. “Last year, at the same time, I already knew that the Tour would come to us. I don’t think there will be an arrival, because I would know and I don’t believe there will be a departure, I will know it”he assures.

The competition will therefore not stop this time in the department to hear the president of the department. “I don’t believe in it, except for a last minute event. I think Christian Prudhomme has his Tour in mind. He would have contacted me.”

It’s not serious

Yves Krattinger sees the Haute-Saône as already very lucky. “For 99 editions, we got used to it not stopping in Haute-Saône. Since 2012, it has happened often, it has happened every time, in addition to the final stage of the women’s tour. We were well served, so no big deal. I don’t know about Belfort but we have a 99% chance out of 100 that he won’t come to Haute-Saône.” On the other hand, rumors announce Belfort as the starting city for the July 15 stage, for a route that would cross Franche-Comté towards Nuits-Saint-Georges in Côte d’Or. But for the moment, the information has not been confirmed.
