This is one more step in the battle led by the management of the Girondins de Bordeaux against the demotion of the club. According to 20 Minutes, the Bordeaux commercial court approved the agreement reached between the club, its shareholder Jogo Bonito and the creditors King Street and Fortress. Conciliation before the CNOSF (National Olympic and Sports Committee and French) will be held on Thursday, July 21. The club presented Friday July 15 to the court a file with reduction of the debt and sequestration of 24 million euros.
If the advisory opinion of the CNOSF is favorable, the decision to keep Bordeaux in Ligue 2 will then have to be approved by the executive committee of the French Federation (FFF). If not, the last option of the Girondins will be to seize the administrative court. The Ligue 2 championship resumes on July 30.
