Initially scheduled for Friday, the executive committee (known as “Comex”) of the French Football Federation was brought forward to Thursday March 30 at 3:30 p.m., according to information from the Sports department of Radio France.
On the program of this meeting, it will be question of the succession of Corinne Deacon at the head of the French women’s football team. The 48-year-old coach, in office since August 30, 2017, was dismissed on March 9 by the Comex (executive committee) of the French Football Federation. This decision was made following the withdrawal of several international tricolorsstepped up against the system put in place within the France team, and which finally got the better of the coach.

The final details to seal the agreement with Hervé Renard, who resigned on Tuesday from his post as Saudi Arabia coach, should be discussed. The signed agreement will pave the way for his appointment, formalized at a press conference on Friday at midday.
Four months before the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the technician is expected to lead Les Bleues and restore serenity within the team after the internal revolt led by several executives of the France team.
