The natural wine movement is booming, and organic viticulture, like the identification of terroirs, is growing.

The tandem behind La Comarcal work with old vineyards of indigenous grape varieties, in the mountains around Valencia, with a very hands-off approach.

This blend of Grenache and Syrah is very aromatic and fruity, with notes of cherry, raspberry jujube, a hint of flower and pepper. A little bit of carbon dioxide accentuates its freshness and its fruity radiance on the palate.

Very dry and very fresh, with light tannins, it should be served chilled with pizza, roast chicken, grilled sausages, ratatouille.

La Comarcal Delmoro Valencia 2021, $20.35 (14791851), 13%, organic
