A journey costs €1, as on the other lines of the network, €1.50 if you take the ticket directly on board the bus. “In a context of exploding energy and fuel costs, it’s interesting to be able to travel anywhere in a territory with just one euro”explains Arnaud Catherine, Vice-President of the Cotentin Agglomeration, in charge of mobility.

Manage my choices

The entire network thus makes it possible to mesh the territory and the main tourist sites this summer. “This will strengthen the attractiveness of the Cotentin for tourists who will come to discover it”hopes the chosen one.

The buses on these summer lines will have specific colorsimagined by the Cherbourg artist Pierre Burnel. “It brings a bit of poetry to our transport network, adapted to the colors of summer”smiles Arnaud Catherine.

More e-bikes available for hire

Two other Cap Cotentin services will also be extended this summer. Electrically assisted bicycles, already available for hire at Port Chantereyne in Cherbourg, will be for rent at the Bricquebec Tourist Office and in Portbail. You can rent them for €20 a day, €50 for three days and €75 a week.

Finally, as of July 1, the service Cap on demand is extended throughout the Cotentin. 513 stops are thus deployed, at least one in each municipality. You can therefore reserve a vehicle in your sector so that it drops you off at another Cap on demand stop or at a stop served by a regular or summer line.
