The Canadian | Kaiden Guhle’s health assessed every day

(Brossard) Defenseman Kaiden Guhle did not participate in the Montreal Canadiens’ training on Thursday, two days after leaving the game against the Minnesota Wild prematurely due to an upper body injury.

The Canadian indicated that his state of health is assessed on a daily basis.

The 21-year-old Albertan left the duel against the Wild in the second period and did not return to the game for the final third.

Guhle was limited to 44 games last season, his first in the NHL, due in part to knee and ankle injuries.

The Canadian (1-1-1) will play their next game on Saturday, when they host the Washington Capitals (1-2-0) at the Bell Centre.
