Joshua Roy’s first stay with the Canadian is over. The young attacker was sold to the Laval Rocket on Wednesday afternoon.
Recalled on January 12, Roy will have played six games with the Habs. He took the opportunity to score his first career goal in the National League on January 17 against the New Jersey Devils. He added an assist on January 20 against the Boston Bruins.
CH played last Tuesday’s match with 11 attackers, including three centers, and the experience proved not to be very fruitful. He lost 4-1 to the Ottawa Senators. Roy’s demotion suggests that a center player will be recalled or arrive in the coming hours.
