They demand an improvement in their salary conditions. A social movement of employees of the audiovisual production company AMP Visual TV, a Canal+ provider, began on Saturday April 15 and is due to continue tomorrow. The broadcast of the Racing 92-Bordeaux-Bègles match counting for the 22nd day of the Top 14 was briefly disrupted in the afternoon. This could also be the case for the retransmission of the clash of the 31st day of Ligue 1 between the leader, PSG, and its runner-up, Lens, scheduled for 9 p.m. on Canal + Sport.

“Due to a social movement by part of the teams of one of our service providers, we will not be able to offer optimal recording”explained Canal + Sport on its antenna before the start of the Racing 92-Bordeaux-Bègles match. “Following this walkout until 3:14 p.m., we will only offer you the wide shot, as well as the sound”the channel continued.

This movement also had an impact on the video refereeing (VAR) which was not available during the first quarter of an hour. After fifteen minutes of play, the broadcast resumed normally, with several cameras and several shots available. Five other Top 14 matches are on the program on Saturday, all broadcast by the Canal+ group.

Ligue 1 also affected

In the afternoon, a spokesperson for Prime Video also explained that the retransmission of the Rennes-Reims match counting for the 31st day of the League (5 p.m.) was going to be “impacted”with “a wide shot for the first quarter of an hour.”

The poster for this 31st day between the leader Paris SG and its dolphin Lens (9 p.m.) on Canal + Sport could also be disrupted, explained in a press release the sports director of Canal +, Thomas Sénécal.

“A social movement at our service provider which ensures the capture of our Ligue 1 and Top14 matches risks impacting the retransmission of the meetings scheduled on our antennas”he said. “All the Canal+ teams have been mobilized urgently and we are doing everything we can to ensure the broadcasts closest to the standards usually offered to our subscribers. We hope for a rapid return to normal”continued the sports boss.
