A 15-year-old was stabbed in front of the Jean Monnet college in Castres on Tuesday May 10 around 2 p.m. The victim is out of danger. LInvestigators quickly arrested the alleged perpetrator, a 15-year-old boy expelled from college a few months ago.

Educational center closed

The minor was presented before the juvenile judge on Wednesday. This Thursday, the public prosecutor of Castres Chérif Chabbi confirms that it has been placed under judicial review with in particular the obligation to respect placement in a closed educational center. He will be tried on June 14 for the facts by the juvenile court.

After the events, security was reinforced in Castres and around the college in particular. 36 police officers were called in as reinforcements, the prefect of Tarn announced a few hours after the attack.
