The Accor Arena in Paris, ranked 2nd in the world for performance venues, after Madison Square Garden in New York

After the Rolex Paris Masters (tennis), which saw the coronation of Novak Djokovic, the Accor Arena in Paris is preparing to welcome Madonna on November 12. Also called Bercy, it has just been ranked 2nd in the world for performance venues in its category, behind Madison Square Garden in New York, by American professional magazines Venues Now And Pollstarindicates Monday November 6 the French enclosure.

A great first

Every year since 2002, Venues Now And Pollstar establish their ranking of world venues with a capacity of between 15,000 and 30,000 seats. The Accor Arena, 20,000 seats, reached second place in this ranking for the first time.

With 71 events, 974,000 tickets sold and revenues of more than $70 million (€66 million) recorded from November 17, 2022 to August 16, 2023, the Accor Arena is positioned behind Madison Square Garden in New York, number 1, and ahead of London’s O2, number 3, according to these entertainment and performance venues sector publications. Just like other Parisian venues, the Bataclan and the future Adidas Arena, the Accor Arena belongs to the Paris Entertainment Company group.
