Three people were involved but not injured. On the other hand, of the five horses transported, two were injured. They were moved to a veterinary clinic in Béziers to receive treatment.

The accident occurred in the Béziers-Pézenas direction but the highway was blocked in both directions during the emergency response. It partially reopened in the afternoon.
