TF1 is preparing a mini-series on the case.

Last September, TF1 took the decision to broadcast a mini-series signed Jérémie Guez and Alexandre Smia entirely devoted to the affair of little Grégory. A few weeks after the success of this production, the first channel chose to take an interest in a completely different story. Either the murder of Alexia Daval. Occurring 4 years ago, this drama has long thrilled the French. As a reminder, Jonathann Daval first mourned the death of his wife before being taken into custody and confessing the assassination of the latter. The young woman’s body was then found in a wood. A terrible discovery that still haunts the parents of the victim. Isabelle and Jean-Pierre Fouillot have written a book to tell their story. “Alexia, our daughter” was published by Éditions Robert Laffont on October 28th.

If Gaumont were indeed to stage this dark affair, it would seem that TF1 has finally overtaken the cinema giant. In a press release, the Bouygues group channel announced the imminent arrival of a mini-series of 6 episodes of 50 minutes entitled “Le Mystère Daval”. A creation inspired by the book by Laurent Briot and Christophe Dubois, “The Alexia Daval case – the real story”. The filming of this production would have started this morning and should end next month with, in the cast, two actors of the series. “Tomorrow belongs to us”.

Maud Baecker, alias Anna Delcourt, should slip into the skin of the victim. For his part, the one who embodies the character of Rémy Valski in the soap opera will interpret Jonathann. As for Alexia’s parents, it is Michèle Bernier and Jérôme Anger who will become, during the filming, Isabelle and Jean-Pierre Fouillot. Finally, Captain Dacosta will be played by Thierry Neuvic. For the moment, no new information has been revealed concerning the release date of this new project.
