After the adventures which led to the postponement, then the cancellation, of certain matches of the second day of the Champions Cup, including Bath-La Rochelle, the Charentais signed a second success in this group A. The Yellow and Black, in a better dynamic than their opponents, who remained on six defeats in a row outside in this competition, maintained their status as favorites by winning (39-21) at Marcel-Deflandre.
By slamming five tries, the Rochelais get an offensive bonus point which keeps them in the race for the round of 16. They will have to seek qualification in Glasgow during the fourth and last day of group matches.
