Terres du son, an eco-responsible festival in what way?

Since its creation in 2004, the Lands of Sound Festival takes care of its environmental responsibility. Sorting of waste of course, installation of dry toilets to save drinking water, meetings with environmental associations, conferences, various and varied activities with the common thread of the notions of citizenship, solidarity, social and ecological commitment.

New this year: vegetarian food which is invited to the festival through the catering offered on the site. Switching to plant-based food reduces the carbon impact of the festival by a third, an effective measure, to say the least, which was acclaimed by Julien Macou, in charge of sustainable development at the Terres du son festival.
This year, the public will also be able to explore the concept of Low-tech (simple and popular engineering using recycled materials) within a dedicated space run by the Low Tech Touraine association. Mobility, energy consumption and water conservation are also at the heart of the commitments made at this eco-responsible festival.
lands of sound, it’s from July 8th to 10th at the Candé estate in Monts.
