She fights for the causes and rights that I believe in. (…) I think she’s a gifted and strong leader.”she wrote. She signed “the childless cat lady”in reference to Donald Trump’s running mate, who had insulted Kamala Harris in the same terms.

A year later, for the midterm elections, she encouraged her fans to register to vote. Result: the site registered 35,000 new voters in a few hours. According to experts, Taylor Swift’s support will not be able to convince the undecided, but it could convince the youngest to go and vote.
