Sylvie Tellier did not respect the dress code

Around 11:30 p.m., more than forty Miss France, from all generations, agreed to come and pay tribute to Geneviève de Fontenay, who oversaw the Miss France competition for many decades. The businesswoman, who left the committee with a loss and a crash in 2010, passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 89. This Saturday, December 16, 2023, more than 40 Misses agreed to come and pay tribute to her, with the exception of Mareva Galanter and Valérie Bègue, but also Malika Ménardwhich was however planned, but which had to cancel its presence at the last minute, due to an injury to the meniscus during a stay in Morocco.

But if one Miss has been talked about more than the others, it’s Sylvie Tellier. The former general director of the Miss France company, who succeeded Geneviève de Fontenay in this position, was among those who paid tribute to her. The two women, however, were not the most intimate, and regularly clashed through the media. Sylvie Tellier, president of the Miss France 2024 jury, nevertheless wanted to pay tribute to himbut her attitude as well as her clothing look disappointed and surprised: Miss France 2002 is the only one to have appeared in an outfit different from all those worn by the other Misses and which were identical (in black and white, a tribute to the outfits iconic works of Geneviève de Fontenay), and adopted a frozen and icy tone which caused a lot of reaction on the Web.

She refused to take Sophie Thalmann’s hand

Viewers also pointed out that Sylvie Tellier refused to hold Sophie Thalmann’s handwith which she arrived on the stage, even though all the other Misses who had preceded and succeeded them were all holding hands…: “Sylvie Tellier the only one (…) not to hold hands with others; how can one be so ungrateful seriously” a viewer was offended. Among the 40 Misses present, we can cite the most famous and recent, such as Iris Mittenaere, Amandine Petit, Vaimalama Chaves, Delphine WespiserMarine Ltemporel, Laury Thilleman, Clémence Botino, Alicia Aylies, Elodie Gossuin, Sophie Thalmann, Linda Hardy, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut, Cindy Fabre, Flora Coquerel, Sonia Rolland, Maëva Couckebut also older and/or less publicized ones, like Mélody Vilbert, Corinne ComanLaetitia Bléger, Suzanne Angly, Isabelle Krumacher, Micheline BeaurainPatricia Barzyk, Valérie Claisse, Véronique Fagot… And many others!
