Sylvie Jenaly (Super Nanny) swings her governess salary live!

After Stéphane Guillon, this Friday, February 10, 2023, it was Sylvie Jenaly’s turn to be the guest on the airwaves of “Sud Radio Média”. In the “10 am – noon”, the super Nanny therefore answered questions from Valérie Expert and Gilles Ganzmann concerning her career as a governess.

Indeed, the one who retired in 2022 looked back on her beginnings in the profession: “It’s a rather unexpected journey that was absolutely not planned. I began my career as a governess by simply replacing a friend who worked for the emirs, on the shores of Lake Geneva. She became pregnant and she was looking for a girl who spoke English. She knew that I had a sensitivity for children, and she offered to replace her during her maternity leave.”

A job as a governess that the “Super Nanny” has always been able to combine with her television career despite an extremely busy schedule: “I was extremely taken by the filming. Then there was an agreement between me and TF1 for me to take a break to find my job as a governess. I left for Africa for two years to work for the presidential family of an African country.”

A good salary

During her appearance on the airwaves of “Sud Radio Média”, the former governess was more transparent than ever by revealing the salary she received from Valérie Expert and Gilles Ganzmann during her career: “Being a governess allowed me to earn a very good living. I was paid 3,000 to 6,000 euros a month”she let go, making it clear that the profession of governess was a real dedication and that she had not hesitated to put her own life aside to do this work.
