Sweden’s accession to NATO is “a victory for freedom”, proclaimed its Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson.
“All good things come to those who wait,” declared the head of American diplomacy, Antony Blinken, referring to a long ratification process among the 31 members. The Secretary of State estimated that this integration demonstrates the “strategic debacle” suffered by Russia.
