Summer is certainly known as the season of music festivals, but there are also fans of cinema, especially in the open air. That of La Villette is famous, but in several villages people who appreciate good films like to meet in front of a projection.

On a barge, in front of the Arc de Triomphe or in a village square, it is possible to watch films in many places during the summer. The small towns are not left out and in one of them, the installation is somewhat agricultural since to set up the screen, the organizers use a tractor. “We have a cinema in Isle-en-Dodon (Haute-Garonne) that we try to bring to life and it’s a way for us to bring culture to all the small villages around Isle- in-Dodon (Haute-Garonne)”, details the mayor of the town, Lionel Welter.

The inhabitants are gathered on the village square and laugh in a joyful atmosphere around a French comedy. “We came on foot earlier, it’s also nice to be able to walk in the countryside and not have to take the car to go to a cinema”enjoys a viewer. You can even bring your pet to watch the movie. The cinema in outdoors does not date from yesterday since this tradition has its source in the 1960s.
