The magazine’s summer series “8:30 p.m. on Saturday” (Twitter) offers an original collection of portraits, beautiful stories and encounters presented by Laurent Delahousse. A breeding ground known in particular for its sheep, its ewes, its cheeses…where you can now come across camels!
They are the proteges of Christèle, a breeder of thoroughbred Arabians for thirty years who fell in love with these one-humped camels during a trip to Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. And she discovered that they adapted perfectly to the climate of the region.
Fifteen camels raised with love
Christèle therefore embarked on this crazy adventure, quickly assisted by Odile, her farmer friend who also succumbed to the charm of large camelids. She raises with love about fifteen camels, for their company, their milk and the pleasure of introducing them to visitors…
